Rear Catalytic Install Question

Rear Catalytic Install Question
Unable to find in earlier threads, so hoping someone has had experience with rear catalytic installation.
The service manual calls for torsion bar removal, but hoping to avoid.
Possible plan is to cut pipe behind catalytic and removing in two sections.
Looking for confirmation if anyone has successfully installed replacement without taking out torsion bar.

There is not an exhaust shop anywhere that would be removing the T Bar to swap out the rear Cat.
If you are replacing the entire front pipe assembly from exhaust manifold collector flange to Tail Pipe exhaust flange (#10), it is unbolt the old, and bolt in the new. If you were just going to replace the rear cat, I would sawzall right in front of the old one and unbolt it at the tail pipe flange, weld the old flange to the new one, weld that to the front pipe and bolt it back together at the tail pipe flange.

Rear Catalytic Installation Lesson with steps
Sharing my experience with removal and installation. It took me few hours, but following steps below you can shave down to 1.5 - 2hrs.
There is NO WAY to install without pulling something out extra from underneath.
The Service Manual calls for Torsion bar removal. I chose in place to remove drive shaft; No way I want to mess with the T-Bar
Steps
1) Use reciprocating saw and cut just behind both flanges for removal. This provides quick easy access for reaching the nuts and removing old unit.
2) Removed the 5 nuts total from two flanges
3) Removed Drive shaft.
4) Slide in place catalytic with tubing into place. Good time to slide on flange gasket on manifold side.
5) Line up manifold side first, securing loosely the flange 3 nuts
6) Fit muffler slide flange on to bolts and secure.
7) Tighten bottom manifold nut first while holding new exhaust tubing away from torsion bar. It's a tight because Catco tubing is fully round and not flattened like OEM version.
5) Tighten remaining nuts front side then rear.
6) Reinstall drive shaft
YOU'RE DONE
