I'm truly happy with my new sut... However, I'm curious, are these vehicles prone to "rattles". There is a rattle that is coming on the passenger side from the vehicle. Originally I thought that it was the moon roof so I checked it for debris that may have caught in the track.. I also checked the passenger door and the seals. I can't tell if the seals are squeaking or if there is something loose when I hit small bumps in the road. It almost sounds like there is a rock in my headliner. Can anyone tell me if the dealer will fix this under warranty or will they think that I'm crazy? I really need to get it fixed or I'll end up selling this thing faster than I bought it. Rattles drive me nuts! I end up turning the radio off on the way to work so I can try to figure out where the heck it's coming from.. Ruins my day from the start of it.

 

yes... they will fix it under warranty, provided they can reproduce the issue....

 

I hate rattles too. Have some one else drive while you sit in the passenger seat or rear and try to find the damn thing!!!

yup me too.. first it was the glove compartment and now it rattles everywhere..

 

I have a vibration noise behind the glove compartment when idling. Drives me crazy!

 

If it's not an 08/09 the rattles will only get worse and worse the longer you own it.

I remember when I bought mine it was dead quite inside unless you leaned on the console. Now it almost drives me crazy.

I've been going around with small adhesive felt pads throwing them between any plastic to plastic contact points. It's solved some but it seems the second you stop one squeak/creak/crack/boom whatever it is another one pops up.

I've actually been trying to locate a decently priced 08/09 to look into trading in my 06 but here in AZ there aren't many and the prices the dealerships want is absolutely ridiculous!

 

My cousin wrapped his whole dashboard and door panels with alcantara and it stopped the rattling sound. It looks pretty sweet too! but i dont know how long it will last..

 

My 06 has 125K

It just started rattling rear pass door or post over small bumps or when door is shut.

Sounds exactly like someone dropped a large mag light inside the door.
