Default Radio issue

07 H3 base with single CD OEM radio

Got in today and noticed that the radio is playing only thru the tweeters. Nothing from any other speakers.
Never had any problems with this radio before.
Turned vehicle on/ off a few times, cycled radio power a few times, switched channels and bands, nothing changed.

I won't be able to tear into this until the weekend but has anyone had an issue like this before?

I'll start with the basics like checking all connections in back of the radio but does anyone have any other tips on what to troubleshoot?

This happened with my h2 whenever the battery needed to be replaced.

Its not the radio, your speakers are dead, puked, toast, capooot. Happened to a bunch of us. You do not notice when the first or second speaker quits, but then another or the rest go, and viola........ you have teeters only.

Here is just one sample of the dead speaker syndrome.

Replace your subwoofer while you are at it. Here is what you need:

Most of the stuff is available from Amazon.

It turns out that the speakers were all dead. The radio is fine.

Replaced all 4 door speakers with Rockford Fosgate 1675 - 3 way's

They sound great.
