That was freakin' AWESOME!!! My Dad and me were into that when I was about 14, but the cost got too high. I am actually interested in finding a kit or good plans to build a B-17 and/ or a F4U Corsair. I need something to hang ona wall.

I too was into RC planes years ago, last 5 years has been strictly RC helicopters.

That's a great video, I kept expecting a crash... the remote X1 was really cool althought the pilot of the B29 showed what the plane can do, I just don't care for scale models (especially that size) doing non scale manuvers like inverted flight, etc.

Have you guys seen the giant B52 RC jet videos that's on the net? It's much bigger than the B29 and it has 8 Wren turbine jet engines in it. I've seen two videos of it, one was just a regular flight, the second one taped the B52 crashing, I can't remember the link but I know it was over in the UK.

Have you guys seen what RC helicopters can do these days? Performance wise they are simply unreal. I was a field rep for Century Helicopters but recently gave up the rep position as I don't have time for that hobby anymore, too much traveling out of town during the week has pretty much killed my build/fly/repair helicopter hobby.

ORIGINAL: HUMMER DRIVER

my build/fly/repair helicopter hobby.
The natural order for those things.
helecopters were just starting to become popular when i was flying rc. We couldn't afford them so I just asked a lot of questions and watched in awe. I agree with the non scale flying. It destroys the illusion of watching a real one fly. I also think it would be cool if someone could come up with a constant speed propeller and maybe seperate throttle controls for the multi engine aircraft.

That is so awsome. My remote controlled plane died on me the third time I used it I think my wife felt worse since she bought it for me. The damn transmitter controls siezed up.

P.S. Chris; I'm trying to figure out a permanent place for my H3 model inside my H3 once the "redesign" is done I just hope someone isn't pathetic enough to try to break into it to steal it [:@]
