Based on all the comments I called Griffin again about a transmission cooler and they don't make one. They recommended B&M units.

I went ahead and purchased the B&M 70264 which does have a cool temperature bypass - $90.

now you can run it directly in and out of cooler and skip where it goes in and out of radiator forever eliminating any chance of fluids mixing again and better cooling for transmission fluid, mines never gone over 125 and mostly barely moves off of 100

Got a question. Can I use the OEM external trasmission cooler as a Engine Oil Cooler? Wanna bypassed the radiator internal cooler.
Months back I replaced my OEM Tranny cooler with the larger cooler. Still got the OEM cooler in garage. Any info n tips?
