I don't like to sound like a pessimist, but it's not a matter of IF it happens again. It is WHEN. I just had my third radiator installed in 5 years of ownership. Two of those were because of the cracked upper tank. It is a design flaw. Before it can happen again, I will have an aluminum radiator installed that does not mount like the stock one.

Stop leaks works fine for small leaks. But as they have said your gunna want to flush it back out when you put the new rad In. Dont use egg or pepper for obvious reasons. Those are farmers tricks and should stay on the farm.

I've had 2 radiators fail like a couple other guys on here. I won't go into a ton of detail about the replacement procedure because i'm not even sure if you're planning on doing it yourself. But if you are, I think I need to tell you the most helpful thing I had to figure out on my own: REMOVE THE INNER FENDERS BEFORE YOU START! It easy to do and it makes the job 100 times easier.
