Default Questions on my H3T

Morning all, Well after adjusting my T-bars and new 35's I have a couple of issues. My base model 09 H3t needs shocks BAD and my preformance had dropped alot. Pretty much knew these things would happen. So my questions are,, What shocks can I run on my T now without breaking the bank? I only lifted my front end 4 1/2 turns on the t-bars, just under 23 inchs now, so I figure I dont need the spacers. Bump stop is only maybe 1/2 inch from hitting, allthough I do feel the dreaded front dive alittle on braking. Kinda figure better shocks will tame this and the rougher ride. So any input or links would be nice on what to spring for. Second is,what preformance chip is the best bet for my H3t. Dont want to spend alot, but want whats tried and true with other H3 owners. Theres alot out there and reading alot of posts, I figure a new post on this might help me decide. I pull a camping trailer and can only imagine how its going to strain now. Sure hope this post fills up with ideas and suggestions.. Thanks

The control arms should be touching the bump stops at all times, they are part of the suspension. That will go a long way for your ride.

As with shocks, a lot of people go with the cognitos from trailduty, but I kept my OEM adventure shocks. The shocks have the same travel, just the cognitos are moved .5 inch down. IMO the OEM adventure shocks are designed better and have a great ride.

Bogus. These things have been around since electronic injection. Basically its a resistor in line that tricks the computers readings. This would be fine if the computer reacted in a linear fashion, but it doesnt.

Stay away.

Thanks Neverending. That was the response I was looking for. Those kind of gains are crazy for that product. I allmost called them for some info , but figured I would be talking to a scripted, knucklehead. Looks like PCMfor less or Superchip for my T

X2 on the bump stops, they are the only part of the HUMMER IFS system that is progressive and not liner.

Not so sure about what you say on the shocks, I have 1 with the Cognitos and TD bump stops and one with the stock OffRoad shocks with the TD bump stops. Both are @ 23 1/4". I like the ride and handeling better with the Cognitos. I'm going with custom tuned Fox shocks (theBroken) to replace the OEM OffRoad shocks. I'll let you know which I like better.
