Default Question to those with torsion bar lifts

When I was cranking my t-bars I could barely get 2.7 turns on the right side. Should I use wd-40? Anyone else experienced this?

I turned mine countless times. The bolts were sticking out from the torsion bar holder. My keys were hardly cranked up. The first few turns were very difficult...the rest, fairly easy to turn.

I suggest spraying the bolts with PB blaster. WD-40 is good as a lubricant but the PB has chemicals that penetrate the metal and grime to allow the bolt to turn.
