I bought stainless nerf bars from those guys down in Houston for $200. EXACTLY the same as GM factory...

I bought the HUNTER stainless brushguard for under 3 bills, it's great! I don't know why some people have a problem with Hunter, mine is sweet and it has a lifetime warranty on the stainless and 5 years on their black powdercoated versions. As good or better than factory at 1/3 the price, no brainer..

I was looking at the hunter grille guard originally, but heard from a number of places that it showed signs of rust in a few months and follow-up customer service from Hunter regardingwarranty claimswas lacking. I am leaning toward the Aries set of Grille guard and side bars from Aries, but the prospect of spending $100+ less for the Hunter one is intriguing. Has anyone else heard anything about Hunter's products than what is posted above? Also, Hunter is out of the side bars until after the new year, so I will most likely go with the Aries. Please help as I am more confused than ever!?!?!?!?!

Also, am i correct in my understanding that all the holes for installing the side bars are there on the H#? Or do I need to verify it before I make the purchase? Sorry for the seemingly stupid question, I am new to the car add-on process.

I just placed the order for the Aries Polished Satinless Steel Grille Guard and Step Bars from Clarence at http://www.gstyle4u.com. He was awesome to deal with, very helpful and gave me an AWESOME price. Thanks Clarence!!!!! [sm=groupwave.gif]

I can't wait to see my wife's face when she goes out to her truck on Christmas morning and sees all the bling added to it. [sm=bling.gif]

I will post some pics when the parts are installed. [8D]

Depends on the bars.... the rock rails that I installed were 100% no mod bolt on to factory locations.... very easy... just a little heavy to hold and get lined up... about an hour job

same with the brush guard... plug and play... took us longer to get the tools out of my service van than it took to bolt on the brush guard... about a 15 minute job
