6 seconds in what? The 1/8 mile? I'd call b.s. on that one. Even if it did, you would be kicked off the track. I see no roll bar or other needed stuff to run a drop-top down a track any were near those times.

Oh and as for not speeding and knowing the situation, you said your self in the o.p. "no more sport cars for me" if it was totally void of speeding acceleration or turning quickly, you could have crashed in any car/truck...
