Just installed my airaid filter kit and i was looking at the cataloge on the throttle body spacers by poweraid, i was wondering if anybody has installed them and wanted feed back as to ,are they worth the investment ,do they work ? mike

 

throttle body spacers were originally developed for tbi or throttle body injection systems. I have heard they actually improve throttle response on these older style non multiport fuel injection engines with the older style intake manifolds. That being said I have yet to meet someone with a newer ford of chevy truck who said it made any improvement that they could tell in mileage or drivability. If someone likes theirs because it actually did something please chime in.

 

I think if they could gain power or Mileage GM would have made the manifold longer. I have my doubts on them working.
