H,i Im trying get my brother a set of tires and rims for his 2006 Hummer H3 for his birthday. our cousin has the Dick Cepek DC 2 with Toyo open country mud terrains. I would love to purchase these for him for a gift. But confused if these rims and tires would fit. The tire size of the Toyos is 305/70R16 and the rim size is 16X8,6 on 5.5 bolt pattern if I not to confusing in my wording can some one help me out.

hahaha...my thoughts exactly..what a nice sis. yes, they will fit. they're a little bigger than stock depending on what h3 he has. base model comes with 265/75/16 and adventure comes with 285/75/16. the 305 is about an inch bigger than the 285 and 3" bigger than the 265 so his speedometer might be slightly off. but fixable. the 305's will look awesome tho. Good luck...im sure he'll love them!

backspacing and offset should be taken into consideration, as well.

i believe the stock backspacing is 5.5 inches.

The 305/70R16 is the same diam. 33", instead it is 12.5" wide compared to the 285/75R16 whis is 33" diam. and 10.5" wide. A lot of people run them to get the wider tire and not have to change the speedo in an Adventure/OffRoad package equipped H3/H3T.
