My power mirrors have been out for a while now, but it didn't bother me because I was the only one that drove my truck. Now that I'm off to college my family has started driving it and reminded me that they don't work. They both went out at the same time. I still have my hazards and turn signals in the front so it's not fuse #56. Is it the assembly that went out or is this caused by another issue? What should I look for first?

 

Check for voltage at the mirror control switch. Could be a bad control switch.

Do you have a sunroof? A BCM fault can cause the mirrors to no longer get power to the control switch.
