Default Has anyone repaired Power Mirrors?

Just wondering...
Replacement power mirrors are expensive but one would think they could be rebuilt or modified.

Anyone?

Just got my drivers side adjustment motor replaced Friday, pretty easy job. Nice not having to put the window down to adjust the mirror by hand.

I just searched fleabay with "GM 19167560" and bought one. I got the part number from Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac Parts Online from Ron Tonkin Chevrolet Parts. Hope this helps.

To be clear, this is to adjust the mirror, not fold it.

Thanks for that I'll have another look on ebay.

Indeed just the mirror adjust motor.

I've already stripped mine down and kind-of got it working, but the gears & pinion were stripped.

Neither of my power folds work but that's a strip down job on the door so I'm putting that one off a while.

Thanks again
