Default POR-15 anti-rust treatment

Hello, everybody!
I would like to use POR-15 product for my 2003 H2, for anti- rust treatment. My Hummer's frame, suspension and many other undecarriage parts are rusted right now. So I heard that POR-15 is very useful for such applications. Is anybody has some experiense in using this kind of product? Any feedbacks, please. Thank you.

I used it on a Toyota I used to have. Works great. Kinda expensive to cover large area tho, or it was ten years ago.

I used the engine enamel kit on my jeep. It's been five years and still holding up.

So what do you recommend, guys? Is it worth to apply this product to my Hummer's undercarriage?

I used it on rusty blazers and tahoes tried it more than once for exactly what your thinking and it didn't hold up at all, I had rust on metal framed yard furniture at the welds and cleaned them up to bare metal then used por15 there and it worked well but doesn't hold up to road salt or metal that you cant clean up very well

Did you use the metal prep?
Scrape off the flaky rust and leave the rest of the rust there?

It needs rust to adhere to.

Collega you could also look into epoxy paint. It isn't cheap either. I know lots of guys that use it on their heeps with good results.

Any paint job whether it be body or chassis will only be as good as the prep work that was put in to it. Prep is key.

I scraped areas, I grinded areas, I painted over rusty areas, I used metal prep (liquid), you name it, I tried it to slow or stop Tahoe rust here in pa, the por15 didn't work, previous vehicle was blazer I experimented with various areas of the vehicle, some sheetmetal, some frame, por15 didn't hold up, that's just my experience with por15 on frames etc, like I said when welded areas were rusting on patio furniture, I wire wheeled all the welds painted with por15, then top coated matching color, been around 7 years no rust, so it can work but doesn't hold up around here on roads

Por 15 needs a top coat as it does not like Ultra Violet light. And it says that on the label
