A police question
In Texas warnings won't show up on another traffic stop it will only come up if you are given a citation. If you do get pulled over again before you get the tint removed, don't volunteer that you were given a warningjust the other day.
The inspection location may be an entirely different story, they can flunk you on the inspection for the windows being too dark. Just as they fail you for headlights being out, horn not working, or windshield wipers not working.
This is Texas only I'm not sure how other states handle things.

That is not true in all states or counties.
In our county warnings ARE put into the system (Mobile laptops) and ANY agency within our county will know of any interaction with any law agency. You warning will show up here if it was issued by us, I.E.city, county. (Including any officer remarks about your behavior or excuses.)
This would be a county by county decision, not a state issue. (Warnings are issued on a county basis, not at state level, unless written by a state LEO. States statistically don't track warnings, however the state law agency may.) Traffic citations arecounty revenue, not state.Easy enough to understand or did I drag it out too far?

Everything is relative to the department's capabilites. Some police department'scan check if a tag is associated with traffic stops or cases, but not if a warning was given. Some departments don't even have computers.
Here's a question for you all:
I'm planning on tinting everything in back of the front windows limo tint, so even though my car is registered in IL and it is legal to do that here, can I still get pulled over and ticketed for it in another state, even though my car is not registered in that state?
