while driving on the highay the whole system died engine ,lights, until i jump started it and let it charge on a 2003 h2. its starting to become ongoing truck ill start just fine stay on and then just drain all the way don and die. key also sticks in the on position thats ongoing now.. is it an electrical short? Please help me troubleshoot.. Battery,alternator???? Electrical? all the fuses seem fine.

 

I would guess you have a charging system problem. It would be best to have the Alternator output voltage checked and a load test put on a fully charged battery.

 

Agreed, sounds like the alternator is shot. The battery has enough juice to start it and run it for a bit then it dies out.

 

Does the engine light turn on? Does the dashboard read any message?
