Hi everyone, Idrive a 98 H1which I recently purchased. Heres my problem, I took the truck off-roading about a month ago and started having problems with it the dayafter.

Here are the symptoms;
Trouble starting.
Idles fine once I do start it, but shuts off the second I try and drive it.
Everytime it shuts off I purge the purge the filter again, only to find air.
When I try to drain the filter it only squirts out abit, then nothing comes out.


Heres what I've tried:
Replaced the fuel filter.
Purged the fuelfilter.
Replaced the lift pump.

Nothing has worked and my patience with this vehicle has become nonexistent. I would greatly appreciate someones help.

Sounds like you are down with a bad ignition switch and since you have already replaced those parts it might be the poorly installed electricals causing problem..
