Looks good. I always liked the Tonka Truck look.

I have to admit, it does look better than I thought.
I also hope it stays stuck where you want it to and not flake or peel off.
What about changing out the chrome grille ?

i'll keep posted on how it holds up, just finished my rims. It completes the whole look, it looks amazing. It's too dark to post a picture today, but i will tomorrow.

Looks great. I dipped some of my chrome parts until I can get black replacements (grill, brush guard, mirrors, handles). Haven't had any issues.

I got some questions. If you take your finger nail to this, would it leave a permanent mark or indentation? If you drove though some brush, would it leave scratches? If it starts to peel, does it come off in one sheet or pieces? do you need to prep the surface of the vehicle to remove wax or something to take the shine off ? What did you use'?

After it fully cures, it's pretty tough. It takes effort to scratch it or to actually peal it off.

For prep all you need to do is clean whatever you are going to dip really well. DO NOT scuff up what you are covering.
The reason that you use dip is that if you change your mind and remove it later you are left with a UNDAMAGED surface underneath.
