Plasti Dip?
I'm considering plasti dipping my 07 yellow hummer h3 matte black, has anyone on this forum done this? Any advice or precautions? I do go mudding, does it peel easily? Any information would help!
Do not do the whole car it is not a good idea, i would recommend a wrap instead, PD is great for details but does not work very well for the complete car. It is hell to remove from large areas and it will start to peal if you intend to go offroad with it
It's been done on vehicles that go offroad with no issues. My friend did his H3 and it still looks good.

As a test, I plasti dipped my huge Road Rhino bumper (was bare metal, no primer or paint). I did this last Fall to see how it held up to all the rockchips, St. Louis snow, rain, salt, mud and offloading until next Spring.
No issues whatsoever. Even high pressure car washes it held. I had a black H2 Wagon I was going to spray this spring. But I just traded it today for an 06 SUT Maroon and you can bet that it will be sprayed in Satin Black.
I also did the wheels and front clip of my wife's Chrysler 300C. No issues.
