I'd say in a Hummer, go BLACK! Said coming from a murdered-out H3 after replacing everything that was chrome with black, including black powdercoated wheels. Go all or nothing!
I Love the look. Then again, I'm coming from a BMW 3-Series coupe, Alpine white.
I think the color should match the vehicle's application. To me, a sports car looks great in white. But a heavy duty SUV looks better in Black. Just my opinion.

Hmm, never thought about it that way. I did think about how it would look after continually getting it dirty from wheeling. I don't dig seeing massive swirly marks on a black paint job. And as much as my Frigidare gets wheeled, a black paint job would be trashed. Try as we might to keep our black 300 looking good, it eventually lost that new car super smooth look and started showing the swirls (and we babied the snot out of it). If I were to use my Fridge to cruise the mall and soccer fields, I'd have to demand black. But since it has the Adventure package, I have to cruise the rocks and mud pits and hope the Maytag repair man will be available to fix something if it ever breaks!
