Hey guys' I have upper control arms, lwr ball joints' sway bar links and inner & outer tie rods. My questions are - how to do upper control arm ? I can unbolt and change parts, but I know nothing about the caster/camber and all that stuff. And for tie rods I have been told I should mark them with tape or something before I take old ones out?

You should have an alignment done after. I tried many things and it didn't work. Good luck

 

You need to mark where things are now, or use a camera (like where the caster/camber cam marks are to the frame gauge etc...... ).

When you put it back together, get it as close to where it was as you can, then go get an alignment.

TIe rods: count the number of exposed threads on both sides and record that also. It should get you pretty close, enough to get you to the alignment shop.

 

I've tried marking it before, marks always seem to get worn off during handling. A picture is much better.
