This may sound like a silly question but can someone tell me how to take this off? I am going top mount a lightbar on the roof. I want to run the wires of it down the post under the trim and it looks like I can run the plug through this box into the underhood area. Should I be doing it this way or find another route? Thanks

 

Has 4 clips that hold it down. Good tug should do it

 

1 open the hood
2 carefully lift straight up. 4 plastic trees hold it on.
3 careful not to lift too fast and hit the corner of the hood with it.
4 not sure where you are located. Do it when it is warm out. Plastic and cold don't mix. Broken clips!
