Default Wheel help!!!

Hello forum, New to the forum and need some help on some wheel options.

I have a 2000 H1 and looking for some wheels and tires to buy this weekend. I am looking at the Fuel Hostage wheels, I either want 20x10 or 20x9 on the wheels. Tires options (i am open to suggestions), I was thinking about the Nitto Mud Grappler 37 inch 13.50r20.

I need some help on what will work as far as the on the wheels end. I see a lot of people running the 20 inch hostage wheels but when I go to purchase them, it says that they will not work on my H1.

Here are my questions

1. Will the 20x10 or 20x9 Fuel Hostages work on it? (if so which ones would be best)
2. What offset will work best for me? (I dont want them to stick out to far, a little is ok)

Please help lol. I hate to have to ship back wheels that will not fit correctly or are unsafe.

Thanks very much =)

If you want safe I'd go with Cepeks. Hummer rims and Cepeks are the only ones rated for the weight of an H1. This is more important if you are going off-roading. Plus, if you have a CTIS system these are the way to go.

GT / Cepek - Hummer Wheels and Accessories

If you are only going on the street and don't have a CTIS system, you can use other rims. I did but they were too wide and the 37 inch tires I had would hit the hood if I off-roaded. On the streets, they were fine.

All 2000 trucks had CTIS originally. Only the old Recruit series were CTIS delete trucks. As stated above most wheels are not rated for the H1. Tom Cepek can answer your wheel questions.

A little late with a response just saw it lol, but I recently went with Moto rims 37 13.50 20 with Toyo Open Country tires on them. Couldn't be happier!
