Hi Guys, My H3 is showing Malfunction Indicator light. After doing ODB2 reading, I received this P2771-00 4WD low switch circuit. Any idea how do you resolve this? Is this related to transmission or this only related to the switch for the 4WD in front of the panel? Many thanks for your help.

 

Pop the center dash and inspect the wiring and connections.

Next, get under it and check the wiring to the Transfer Case Encoder Motor (actuator). The motor could be going bad, wires frayed, connector dirty, or your Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) may have a short to ground.

Has nothing to do with the Transmission.
