Do a forum search on OnStar, there are several threads about renewal deals. The short version is that there is the list cost to for OnStar subscription and there is what they are willing to give you. My last renewal for the basic "Safe & Sound" service was about $148 for 14 months. Just hit the OnStar button close to renewal time & tell them you heard about that kind of a deal and you want it.

 

My Onstar dialed out for no reason yesterday, and then hung up.
