Default ongoing front end trouble

Update:
07 hummer h3 62k miles
History of issue can be found here:
https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...estions-33088/

Had a chance after business tonight to tear down front end.
Took the calipers off. Pads. All the hardware. All the bolts for CV axles.
Inspected everything. I mean everything. There is nothing loose or sloppy in the front end.
Cleaned everthing. Removed all rust. Sanded and adjust brakes components.
Calipers are clean no tears in boots. The pistons do have a bit of rusty discoloration but no damage.
CV boots are in great shape. Front end checks out. Even retested front hubs, ball joints.

One thing of note:
While investigation went on I did find that I had some deep gouges in the inside of the calipers from the rotor which was encrusted in rust. Beat all the rust of the rotors and used a 3m double clean off wheel to restore the metal of the rotors to factory clean. Also removed all rust build up in caliper pad contact points.

There is no rusty hinge sound any longer. Wether this will get the low rumble Mt type tire noise cleared up is anyone's best guess. I'm beat tonight so did not take a long ride.

Tonight? Were you drinking during the repair? It was only 7:59am when you posted?

Nice work, however you seem to have alot more patience than I have, I just replace the brake components whenever there is an issue and they are rusted. I picked up a set of front loaded calipers(with pads & hardware) today for $150.00, I dont need the pads or hardware(I just replaced the pads & drilled/slotted rotors($105.64), plus the hardware ($6.00)), however the price was right.

That's a name you can trust! IMO, by far the best bearings on the market!

Well thats what I gatherd for info about them as well. I did find a moog for just less than Timken, but dont know about quality compared to Timken. I assumed having bothsides of the same brand would be best anyway. As price is only 20 bucks less.
