Hi, I did a search and found the most relevant thread I could find. It may be 1.5 years old but I have this problem and from what I read, it was never really answered in enough detail to tell my mechanic as to where to start looking. I tried to keep it in the same thread so when future people tried to search, they would not get pages of answers for different problems. For example, Widespread hummer was nice enough to tell me to do a search for battery terminals. I did. I get pages of posts that have nothing in common to my problem. I know where he is gong with it, he thinks it is a poor electrical connection. My bad, guess I should of started a new thread?

 

Oh thank god its a old post! But either way I like the theme of explicit Lyrics cause I say *** GM ignitions. I continue to get the security light lockout syndrome.

I found the ingnition on Ebay for $55 dollars, just gotta bite the bullet and change it. Glad to learn its not ECM but it could be latter down the road!!!
