Thanks all for the coments.

iPhone, you may have better lighting than the base model, I don't know.
Yes, you have heated seats and both are power, this base has only a power drivers seat.
You may have lighted vanity mirrors, the base does not. One touch window is in the base drivers side only.
You have the seven speaker system with lots of base and a six CD player.

As long as the suspension and transfer case and drive train are the same as the Lux I will be happy.
Oh yeah, I do miss te leather wrapped steering wheel, weather it is leather seating or not, the leather steering wheel is a nice feature.

I'm hooked up with OnStar, this is something new for me. All the GM vehicles I've owned in the past never had OnStar, in fact we have a 2007 GM and there is no OnStar option in it.

Hmmm... the only thing there is that I don't have the 6 CD player? Maybe it has something to do with the year, because mine is an 06 and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a 6 CD changer, but my friend has an 07 and hers does.

Not sure if this has something to due with the Lux package or just a difference between years/models, but apparently my steeringwheel is skinnier than on some H3's (and it is leather).

OnStar is so cool! I just got the 3 month trial. Did you get a phone number? They gave me 60 free minutes. It's such a cool feature. Did you know, if someone is stealing your car right now, OnStar can force the H3 to slow down and come to a stop and shut the engine off? So cool!

I'm not sure if our older models have the Stolen Vehicle Slowdown, looks like it is for select 2009 models.
Remember, someday that feature may be used against you.

I will hopefully get my OnStar number today sometime.
I also got the "Turn by Turn Directions" for a trial period.

I think I can call Canada without paying any extra, just for the minutes I paid for.

Just received my OnStar number.

Ahh you're right about the 09 thing. That sucks. Oh well it's not like I plan on having my H3 stolen lol.

Oh you got your number, I was going to say if you didn't, call, because that's what I did and they gave me 30 extra free minutes! I got one free use of the directions & connections thing too.

I'm so tempted to call and say I locked my keys in my truck because I just want to see it be remotely unlocked

If your H 3 does get stollen, they can locate it using the GPS so you're not out of luck there, you just won't get the slow down feature.

Yep, I just called from the H3 a few minutes ago and received my OnStar phone number.
I am thinking of a place I want to go today and try out the turn by turn direction feature.

Congrats on getting your new baby home!!!

I'm still looking!

I drove one yesterday. An 07 with everything I want on it...but it was a dark color. I want lighter as it has to sit outside (...I know, but the vettes get the garage.) I really liked it but was disappointed there was traffic around, and I couldn't really check the acceleration.

Will I be able to enter the interstate at 75 mph with a 5 cyl??? That's my gauge for buying an SUV. lol

Oyealiz,

The I-5 in the H3 is a bit of a slug sometimes, especially uphill, but personally I don't care, the Hummer isn't built for speed anyways (leave that to your vettes! lol) That being said though, it obviously can reach normal highway speeds at a normal rate. It's just not a Corvette
