Being a new H3 owner myself....2 1/2 weeks...and I still love my H3....usually have buyers remorse after a vehicle purchase. Not with this baby...I couldnt believe how well it rides, and how solid they are...plus they are just bad a$$! Congrats again!

I am still excited, still awake reading some posts and he owners manual, so excited it is hard to sleep!
I really can't believe how solid this vehicle is, I don't know of any other that feels like this. Smart engineers designed everything large giving that illusion too. Look at the door handles, twice as large and solid as many other vehicles. The tires are huge and when you approach the vehicle it looks like a massive sized fun car.

Chameleon, I feel the same way about my H3! I've had it for about a month now and I love it! I've been away from it for 2 days and I find myself google image searching "Hummer H3" because I just want to stare at it! It's awesome to say that we drive the COOLEST trucks!

iPhone, I did forget to add that mine is a base model with sunrof, and for some reason a power drivers seat.
I would have liked the Lux package, but I'm thinking the cloth is just swell and we never listen to the radio so a great sound system would be wasted on us. What else would I have gotten with the Lux package? A lighted vanity mirror?
I wanted a sunroof more than I wanted leather and all that goes with it, so if I couldn't find a Lux package I was happy to find a 2008 Base with a sunroof.
I had the mud guards added on, and I like the looks of them. Not pictured above, but in the picture below.
You can partially see the mud guards. I am planning to have the 3M type material installed on the hood, fender fronts and those rear fenders where all the mud ends up.

My H3 has the Lux package. It has touch screen navigation, XM satelite radio, leather. I'm not sure what else the luxury package includes but it also has heated seats, power seats, auto-down windows - but I'm not sure if all H3's have that or just the luxury package. It also has a sunroof. I'm not sure if it's just the photo, but I think my headlights are "whiter" than yours, they may be xenon - I don't think mine are quite as yellow as yours. That might be something in the lux package?
I definately agree that the sunroof is amazing! It's one of the best parts of the H3 and during my search for one, a sunroof was mandatory or that was a dealbreaker. It's huge! I can't wait till the summer when I can actually USE it!

You have the seven speaker system with lots of base and a six CD player.
As long as the suspension and transfer case and drive train are the same as the Lux I will be happy.
Oh yeah, I do miss te leather wrapped steering wheel, weather it is leather seating or not, the leather steering wheel is a nice feature.
I'm hooked up with OnStar, this is something new for me. All the GM vehicles I've owned in the past never had OnStar, in fact we have a 2007 GM and there is no OnStar option in it.
