Default Off road accessories

I have just bought a 06 shadow green h3 that is stock and I'm wanting to put some off road stuff on it such as roof rack brush gaurd lights and a winch but I can't seem to find hardly any websites with what I'm wanting at a good price just for a h3. This is my first hummer and so far I love it but I need some things to really make it one of a kind.

Welcome.
Yes the prices are a bit North...and it makes upgrading slow, but craigslist.org, amazon, ebay and teaka toys all offer to some degree accessories.

I would start with bigger tires if you run stock now. Best looking and best improvement for running off road

One thing I've learned is you get what you pay for. Good quality items are going to be more expensive. So what we are doing is buying one thing at a time then saving up to get the next thing. Yes, we could have gotten all cheaper parts all at once and already been done with ours but it is much more worth it in the long run to buy something that is going to last and function the way it should for a long time.

I am wanting to put a 18 inch rim but not sure what all would look good on it and either a 295 or 315 tire with the rough country 2.5 lift and some shocks

Are you going to use it for what it was designed for, or make a mall crawler?

18" rims are not ideal for wheeling, you need tire sidewall flex for wheeling, so the larger diameter diameter rim, the larger tire size will be needed. This means 16" rims with 33" tires, or 17" rim with 35" tires. 18" rims will definitely need 35/315 tires for wheeling.

Next, while roof racks and lights are great, if you want to use it move those down the priority list. Look for rock rails, undercarriage protection, U Bolt Skidz etc... IMHO I would rather have a truck with a protected and functioning transmission and T Case, then one that can't move with a sweet roof rack and lights.

Welcome to the forums and enjoy the 3.

Total waste of $$$$$$

Do the torsion bar adjustment for free: Look in the H3 section "frequently asked questions - Torsion Lift how-to"

Well I love the 3 and I don't really wanna take it off road because I don't wanna tear anything up and where I live in the south it's just mud there are lots of mountains but its not too rocky but I'm itching to take it off road to see what it can do
