Since I bought this Hummer I have noticed that sometimes there is a delay when starting. I can turn the ignition to start and nothing happens... then It starts. I’ve never seen this before. I'm not sure if the starter is slow it start or if the ignition cylinder is messed up,I do know the ignition cylinder was replaced because it has two keys.

Thoughts?

 

Not sure. I've never really noticed a delay but one thing is that it is electronically controlled. In other words you can rotate the key to start and immediately let go and it will do its thing, you do not have to hold it in the start position.

 

Interesting. I didn't remember that, I’ll test it in a few.
