Having a hard time finding an old thread in this. Sometimes at start it won't turn over or give me aux power. If I push the shifter deeper into PARK it starts rite up. Is this a common problem? Is it an easy adjustment to the park sensor switch?

 

I have yet to hear about this, and it's never happened on my 06 3 with 72k miles. Hopefully it's an easy fix

 

It should start if you put your foot on the break and put the shiftier in N neutral and turn the key and it should start. As for a fix you will have to find park switch and adjust it. I dont know where it is ,Try and google it

 

It will start if I slap the lever towards the front of the car. It is intermitent so far. Just wondering if anyone has adjusted one of these. Looks liie replacing it is a two man job. I could see this prblen stranding my wife or kids when they use my hummer.

 

from drive you can bump to neutral,flip the key,start, and pull back to drive in less than 2 seconds. i did it.
