Yesterday when I parked I could feel a clicking in the gear selector when I stepped on the brake. I assume it is the safety switch to prevent movement into gear without applyiing the brake. It did it 2 or 3 consecutive times and then back to normal, no clicking when stepping on the brake.

My question is, is this a warning sign to change that switch? Could it have been an anomoly? Has anyone changed that switch? Cost, ease of install?
