Question No reverse after 12 hour garage parking

After sitting in garage all night (12 hrs) the 2006 h3 feels like its being forced to back up like it's dragging. With the automatic selector still in reverse without pushing accelerator, jack the front and rear up and confirm the reverse bind in wheel rotation, however you can rotate the wheels forward.

Lower the jacks & put the h3 into drive and everything is fine (including reverse) all day long. But put her in the garage all night (12 hrs) and it happens all over again.

What is going on here????

there are no lights or codes in the H3. She has 61,250 miles. the transfer case has new encoder motor November 2016, the transmission was replaced by GM re manufactured in December 2016, Also the transfer case was updated to metal forks in December 2016.

This is a head scratch-er..

An06 with only that few miles? Check the wheels and make sure they are not stuck on the flat spots on the ground. Could also be mud dobbers or spider webs tying it down.

Brake calipers, I replaced my rears due to a "drag" on the wheels. When I checked them off the ground, RR was locked up. I tested the caliper piston and it would NOT retract. GL
