Default No power throughout the truck

I sent my starter off to get rebuilt and decided to fix a few small electrical issues that have been nagging me. But I have no power in the truck at all. Does the starter need to be connected to the cables in order to send juice to the rest of the truck? I have done a lot of starter jobs but never had an issue like this before

This actually happened to me the other day at school. Make sure that your battery terminals and wires are tight and connected

I had a funny feeling that all power gets routed to the starter first. I called my dad and he confirmed this. So disregard this thread
