I just recently fixed a power steering fluid leak and filled up the sistem but if i brake and turn the steering wheel they both dont work properly and fluid starts to come out the reservoir. Im thinking it might be the steering pump, could it be?

 

Might be air in the system. Start it and slowly turn wheels lock to lock and then check the fluid level.
