Default No Audio H2 Nav Bose Audio

Drove home last night rocking out, woke up this morning to no chimes or radio. Curious if anyone knows what to check aside form the 30 amp fuse under the hood. I have an external line in mod that I did in place of the XM receiver other than that everything should be stock.

Today I ran through all fuses in the engine compartment and on the driver side door everything seemed ok. The one I def checked was the 30 amp fuse marked as radio amp. The rest I kind of spot checked things like aux or the ones marked with asterisks. I guess next step is to disassemble the console and figure out where the amp is I don't have a repair manual so if it's easier than taking the center console apart someone let me know.

This morning on the way into work decided to try the volume button and i have audio. I guess this mean I should just break down and buy the service manual so next time I can see where I might check loose connections.

This is a common problem with the H2. The issue is most likley the Bose amp under the console. This amp runs the front speakers & sub including the chimes and such for the doors and signals ext. My 2008 H2 had this problem. The dealer has changed the amp once, has not had the problem since. Anything cound make it start happening or stop such as heat, cold or a bump in the road. I guess we all live with it or spend the bucks to fix the problem.
