Just got a 2003 H2 with original BFG's at 72k. Need to change them out but don't want to spend big $$$. Looking at Yokohama, Kelly or Kumho. Will be used 90% on road (noise level??) with some beach,farm and forest. Also for towing 5500lb travel trailer. Any recommendations?

 

Do you want to stay with the stock size or would you consider getting a larger tire. I went with a bf good rich 315/70r/17. It's a combination highway off road tire (more emphasis on off road) and they are quieter than i expected. With tax they run about $300.00 a piece, but you can get other brands for $100.00 less. I've seen the stock size for as little as $150.00 - $180.00 a piece. I would suggest looking online to get your best deal.

For mainly on road driving the stock BFGs are good tires. They are quiet, ride well and you will get 50k+ miles out of a set. They aren't that expensive either. Welcome to the forum.
