New Streetglow product install + review**UPDATE**
I gave her the h3...my choice, not hers....it just got boring to drive. I drive it almost everynight though when we go out as a family...the jeep is too high for the wife and the car is too small.
That's one of the reasons I want to do all the HP mods and make the suspension stiffer, to make it just a bit more exciting. At least I have the manual, but that doesnt' say much
a manual would make it more fun to drive I think...that's the main reason I enjoy driving the jeep and the car so much more. A manual and a SC woul make the h3 a blast to drive
I always tell myself I'm really sick of driving a stick, but at the same time, when you have the PCM tune and the extra air coming into your engine, you really do get a nice power boost. Also, off-roading is a breeze with a stick. I was running the stock 32" tires and never got stuck, except whtn I propped myself up on a slab of concrete, but that was my own fault
The clutch is a little tricky to master on the H3, but the PCMfor Less people adjusted my PCM so the engine would idle down faster, since before it would take literally 2 to 3 seconds to drop a few thousand rpm's. Now it happens in less then a second

Just as an FYI to those of you interested in the strobes, you can get a Whelen kit on ebay for the same price as the StreetGlow system.
Whelen produces the majority of all emergency vehicle lights, in other words, it's the real deal.

I will put my STREETGLOW Pro strobe kit against any whelen kit...ANYDAY OF THE WEEK!!! This has been done before at shows and was proven that SG was overall better...so I have confidence in the outcome
Whelen is known mainly for aviation lighting..NOT emergency responce lighting....that is their main product. The SG system uses a 5.8" hole in the light to mount...Whelen uses a 3/4" hole...big difference when your talking about drilling into your headlight housing. Here are some other differences:
StreetGlow WHELEN
4 PORT........................... 6 PORT
(I am sure if you need it for the price it is an advantage, however 2 extra bulbs would still be sold separately and would take wattage from the other bulbs)
Wireless Remote........................... No Remote
(We listened to enthusiast and responded)
6 15ft cables..................... 4 15ft cables
(Again listening to our Truck consumers and their needs)
LED Controller Button To Switches Patterns..........dash mount button controller
(Pro Series was designed with enthusiast in mind)
13 Patterns........................10 Patterns
(Although not that important but still an advantage)
Warranty LIFETIME..................Unknown
so how is whelen better?

Seriously, how is Whelen better than StreetGlow? I'm not going to tell you you're dating an ugly girl, but she definitely isn't a supermodel.
Whelen has been making high end lighting for for over 50 years to comply with strict government regulations.
StreetGlow's been around for maybe 20 yearsselling crap for teenage boys to put on there cars.
Whelen - Made in the United States
StreetGlow - Made in China
Whelen - 2 -10 year warranty - My guess is that they are designing for 24/7 usage.
StreetGlow - Lifetime - they are probably trying to widen the market, but typical usage is maybe 10 hrs per month.
Whelen power supplies are typically aluminum
StreetGlow appears to be plastic.
Whelen power supplies go up to eight outlet, 180 watt output, with 16 flash patterns.
StreetGlow is four outlet, 75 watt output, with 13 flash patterns.
Whelen is the standard in emergency vehicle lighting.
Not everyone needs Whelen... for them there's StreetGlow.
For the record, I don't have any problem with StreetGlow, only the argument you tried to make for them.
