Default New owner H1, Proper way to use transfer case HI/LO, N, L, etc

Im a new owner of Hummer H1 1994,and the transfer case shift its in HI-LO , dont now the proper way to change the position to "N",

Put the tranny in neutral and shift the Tcase into whatever position you need. Truck should be stopped or rolling no more than 2-3 mph. It might be hard to shift and grind a little. That is fairly normal.

Default H/l & l

Manual recommends the following:
Shifting from H to H/L should be done while moving.
Shifting from H to L should be done when you are NOT moving. Put in neutral and shift to L. It WILL clunk a bit.
