Been a member here for a couple of months but first time posting. Got my 2006 H3 back in may. Use to be into cars, but sold my car looking to get a SS Trailblazer but come across my Hummer. Im glad I made the decision I did. Ive loved every minute of it!!! Havent done much to it. Just leveled it and removed the grill guard. Thinking of getting a tuner for it. Any ideas of where to start first? Ideas welcome

 

Welcome to the forum. Post up a pic when you get a chance. It all depends on what your needs and wants are. If you plan on doing some offroad stuff, which I hope you are. The Hummer is really awesome like that, they I would suggest some good under carriage protection, "CBUCP", and some rock rails. Also if you are going to wheel it, the 16 inch wheel is alot better.. They hold up alot better offroad due to more larger sidewall. DO NOT BUY A LEVELING KIT........ IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY. JUST TURN YOUR BARS UP TO LEVEL. THEN GET A ALIGNMENT AFTERWARDS. NO NEED FOR A LEVELING KIT. If your are just keeping it as a pure road warrior, I think that engine mods and exhause would be first on my list. Just check out pics of other peoples rigs and see what looks good for you. Peace

 

Yeah I turned up the torsion bars to level it then got it aligned. I've taken it mudding a couple times(from Texas that's what we do) lol. And recently went in the sand dunes while down in galveston on the beach. Would like to meet others and possibly do some wheeling. But all the other H3s around here are stock or have 26s :-(

Yeah that would be awesome. I have some vacation to burn up next month anyway. And depending on when it is, ill be in waxahachie in just over a week. Would be just a jog away
