New Member here. Picked up a 2006 H3 last month when I came in from offshore. Always wanted a Hummer. My girlfriend has a 2009 Jeep Wrangler and we love to ride around in it at the beach and do a little light off roading. I was gonna purchase a 4 door Wrangle but backed out at the last minute. Even though I love the Jeep I am beat up at the end of the day and way to many days we have been caught in the rain with the top and doors off or have a been caught with an unexpected cold front and a to many miles to get home. The H3 drives wonderfully. Open all the windows and the Sunroof and I am good to go. Don't feel tired of driving it.

The H3 is a black on black leather interior Automatic with all the creature comforts. it had 60000 miles on it and one owner. It was maintained very well and already had the head replaced on it at 48000 miles. I am going to add some off road lights and and air horn some LEDs to the interior and thats about it.

Anyway my back ground is in Automotive Mechanics and electronics. I worked for LoJack stolen vehicle recovery systems for the last 12 years as a manager for the South Land. I supported daily operations and law enforcement. Got burned out about 2 years ago with heavy travel and made the switch over to OffShore oil and gas 7 months back.I travel to lots of different platforms via Helicopter or Boat throughout the day. But I am out there for 14 days and home 14. I am about to go to a 21 and 21. Love the time off and when I am off and can do what ever I want.

Currently trying to find a water leak on the passenger side floorboard. All drain tubes for the roof are free and clear and the AC drain is flowing. Woke up to a busted Windshield the day after I picked it up so might have a leak there. New windshield going in tomorrow.Looking forward to getting a few bugs worked out and some good times in the Hummer.
