New LED Headlights .. Need advise for DRL
I've bought the "Phillips" headlights and never had problems with them. Typically the larger lights are trouble free. The smaller lights I have always needed to seal with clear silicone because they always leak eventually.
So far I haven't seen any more condensation. Hoping was only humidity trapped inside
Im going to give these lights a second opportunity. Will send it to amazon for a replacement . Reviews on these are very good . Maybe I got a bad batch
If got issues with the replacement then will look to spend more on JW or trucklite . Btw JW said condensation is normal and to be expected . But still bother me to see those clouds on the lens

I cut the oem housing to be used with the new led drl . So far is working great . Only need to fill the gap with some black silicone.

I see this in the near future
Any 4 inches fog lamp in amazon will work but check the recently post from mixmansc . He found a very nice drl almost the size of the one in our trucks
Yep - turns out certain model years of Toyota truck use a fog light that is right around 4.75" in diameter which will fit the pocket in the plastic much better. That was the one thing that was holding me up. I have some other 4" lights that I trial fit but I was not liking the gap around edge and was not digging how they looks when modified to use the stock lights as the mounting.
The only really nice looking ones I've found are from Morimoto and one other company. I mentioned both in another thread I started regarding them.

I just finished installing the JW speaker model 8700 evolution 2. the install was incredibly easy, just trimmed the bucket with a dremel and had everything done in under an hour and they look awesome. only snag was the alignment screw was stripped and needed a little modification.
