I just got a brand new 2008 BLACK HUMMER H3 ALPHA. Fully loaded. I have a few questions.

1) The rear view mirror wires, which are behind the mirror are taped with electrical tape, why is that? It doesn't look right to me.

2) Where can I get those Xenon daytime headlamps for my hummer? The lights that have that luxury look to them.

These are NOT those "kits" you see online where you buy the bulbs, harness and ballast,
but use the existing housing. The Starr HID light system is the only true HID lights for the H3

My 2007 H3 has the same wires attached to the rear view mirror, live with it.

 

Minemirror doesn't look like electrical tape. It's flexible braided tube to contain the wiring.

 

My 08 Alpha also has a black flexible braided tube around the wirers.

The 09's have a better mirror, the back-up camera lens shines through the mirror face instead of sliding out from the back, and it also has 2 pivot points so it can be moved up high enough so that you can see underneath it, soit doesn't creat a blind spot.

 

Can you get a pic of that? I have that big *** mirror with the side slide out rear view camera.
