First of all, I would just like to thank everyone on this forum for all their advice about purchasing an H3. After about a month of hard research, daily trips to this website, and several dealerships, I finally bought one today. It's a black, luxury model w/ the light cashmere leather, and loads of accessories(chrome package, sunroof, chrome locking fuel cap, chrome sidesteps, etc). It's actually still at the dealership getting the roof marking lights installed. But anyways, if it wasn't for you guys, especially AngelH3, I wouldn't have saved as much as I did. Thank God for "GM in the Driveway". That is definitely the way to go before purchasing a GM vehicle. Also the fact I'm active duty Navy, I saved close to 4000 dollars on the OTD price. This forum is well organized with loads of knowledge. Again, thanks for everything, and I will be posting pics soon.

 

Congrats shipmate!, please post some pics as soon as you get it. You gonna love the sunroof, one of my favorite features on mine.

What is an illustrator draftsman? I served in the Marine Corps and was drafter/surveyor, what everyone else seems to call an engineer assistant. I was taught at ft Leonardwood, Mo by a mixture of army, air force, civilian, and Marine instructors in classes made up of all four branches.

 

Tell me more about the locking chrome gas cap. I have the chrome fuel door which does not lock. Took delivery in March 06.

 

chrome locking gas caps for look you really do not need it if you have the door you can buy a plastic one for $20.00 at a local automotive store.
