I have a friend who had a simular problem with stalling...
turned out to be a bad (shorting out) wiring harness that goes to the knock sensors..I can't remember if he had to do both sides or just one side..but I hope this gives you a direction to look at..GL

Turns out the steering wheel position sensor was the culprit of the stalls and engine lights. So glad to be over that hurdle! Now... onto the next. My husband thinks I need a new transmission. It's shifting extremely hard between the 1st and 2nd gear. Seeing as how all I drive is bumper to bumper rush hour on i-635, I am constantly shifting between 1st and 2nd. I'm getting jerked around each time it shifts. I'm trying a different dealership this time. I'm taking it into to Classic Chevy tomorrow. Fingers crossed this next experience is better than the last!
