I like it! Especially at idle, nice deep rumble. Would love to hear a drive by whenever you get the time to put it up!

 

Picked up,new in the box off of E bay for 200, this is I believe made by Billy boat and the tips are stamped H3. No drone and a nice rumble but not over the top. Look around at Craigslist and eBay there are some deals. I have an Alpha so I think MSRP on the exhaust was over a grand new.

 

What's a better sounding exhaust ( without drone ) for the H3 Alpha, Billy Boat or magnaflow ???

 

I have had manga flow on 3 vehicles and I am done with using them, great product but I like BB better. Just my opinion.

 

Why is that ? WHat makes the B and B better than Magnaflow ? Thankssssssss

I have GM performance exhaust on my Alpha, made by BB no drone. I know there are you tube sound clips, the Magnaflow is louder a friend has it but then there is drone, I personally had Magnaflow on 3 other vehicles. Changed the exhaust since the drone became tough on the ears. There are guys with Magnaflow on here and like it, so I prefaced my comment with just my opinion. Look on ebay for some GM performance exhaust that is discounted, after all our trucks are out of production. I paid 200 for a brand new GM performance exhaust for my Alpha with tips stamped H3 and it is a dual exaust set up at the end, 1 pipe into the muffler and two out the back, the longer it is on the better it sounds. I would not drop close to a grand on cat back since it only for sound and show. I did a custom tune and cat back and air intake, the combo seems to wake the truck up a bit, or at least offset what I lost from the 35's that are now on it. Hope this helps.
