I just recently got the Magnaflow catback w dual tips paired with a K&N CAI and I think it sounds great. I got it on sale for $510 shipped so it was worth it to me to have a reliable setup. It's not overwhelming and ricey sounding, but still has that low deeper tone I was looking for. Def would recommend it. Also didnt do a custom so I wouldn't void my warranty on the vehicle.

Modifying the exhaust will not void the factory warranty unless the catalytic converters are removed or altered or anything in front of the cats are messed with...trust me I made sure of this before I had anything done

i found that the gibson set up that I have is the best placement of the tips. They turn out right behind the rear tires tucked up to the body, and they run over the leaf springs. you will hit the springs before hitting the exhaust tips. It sounds really good

I had removed the muffler as well and had horrible drone on the highway. But didn't have tips welded on so the pipe was right underneath the car, maybe that's why?

So I ended up putting a flowmaster 50 series in the stock location.

Flowmasters drone horrible ?!?!?! ..????

I owned a 2001 Camaro SS and it droned really bad on that.

My H3 is Alpha. Can anyone give me a straight answer about a high quality sounding, no drone exhaust? Please .... ??

However Flowmasters sound great if you can handle the drone ..... H3, I have no idea how an aftermarket Cat back will sound. What about B&B or Billy Boat. Again, I own a 2009 Alpha V8. THANKSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!

I've only seen magnaflow and billy boat exhausts for the alpha. I have been looking since I picked up an alpha a couple weeks back

Thumbs up

We have the Magnaflow catback on our Alpha and I think it sounds great. Enough noise without the constant drone. Just my opinion though.....

Would like to see a video of this set up. Thinking of changing my current exhaust set up.
