About 10,000 miles my engine blew up (under warranty). 4 months of dealing with GM and I had it replaced.

I'm sitting at 82,000 miles and even though I asked GM to redo all the fluids they didn't. So I'm doing it myself. GM gave me a quote to replace both different, transfer case and tranny... About 1100. I think that is excessive and I'll do it myself.

So questions

What fluids does an h3 take?

Diffs (75-90?)
Transfer case
Transmission

Engine oil (5w-30 synthetic)

I have no idea if they replaced it with 3.5l like original 2006 Or bumped it to 3.7l. Dealer didn't know... They just sent him the engine..

sorry i don't have the definite answer but certainly you can use dexron vi for transmission even if it was speced for dexron iii
newer models i beleive 2006+ using dexron vi as factory fill
